Week 18 is here and this baby is making itself known, both in how much it has grown and by how much I feel it kicking!!
This week we are a bell pepper! Here is the latest on week 18: “Head to rump, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. He’s busy flexing his arms and legs— movements that you’ll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. If you’re having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you’re having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, although he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.”
Fun facts for the week:
- This is the first week I had to wear a pair of pants unbuttoned (I used a hair tie and belly band to keep the pants closed and up!).
- I was told by two different people that they can tell that I look pregnant now.
Here are pictures form week 18. Check out the first and most recent picture, and you can definitely tell that I am growing!!
